Edward Rogoff
Founder and Principal

Edward Rogoff is a world-renowned expert on the topic of entrepreneurship, and a recognized academic, business, and nonprofit leader with a successful record of building vibrant and responsive organizations. He is the author of seven books, including his most recent title, Bankable Business Plans for Non-Profits, co-authored with Perry-Lynn Moffitt. He has also contributed articles to The New York Times, Journal of Small Business Management, Entrepreneurship Research Journal, and Forbes.
Ed’s academic career includes serving as a tenured faculty member and former Dean of the School of Business at Long Island University. He also directed the Lawrence N. Field Center for Entrepreneurship and was chair of the Department of Management at the City University of New York (CUNY) Baruch College. He founded the CUNY Center for Student Entrepreneurship and was instrumental in developing its U.S. News & World Report Top 10 ranked undergraduate and graduate entrepreneurship programs.
Ed was the recipient of the 2010 Outstanding Educator of the Year award, given by the United States Association of Small Business and Entrepreneurship. In addition to his academic experience, he has held both executive and board positions in various nonprofit organizations, including the Hemophilia Association of New York and the Global Center for Social Entrepreneurship Network.
Earlier in his career, Ed founded and served as CEO of two broadcasting companies, managed ten different political campaigns, and advised numerous start-ups. He holds a B.A., M.S., M.B.A., and Ph.D. from Columbia University.

Holly Blondin

Glenn Emanuel
Holly Blondin brings a multi-disciplinary approach to learning and business development based on her background as a professional performing and visual artist, and as an entrepreneur. She understands the struggles of working in a nonprofit organization because before moving to Spain, she directed the marketing campaign at the Spanish cultural center, Instituto Cervantes, in New York City. She currently guides university students, entrepreneurs, including executives and their teams, to develop their creativity and innovation skills through arts-based learning and design thinking. Recent organizations which have hired Holly for her expertise include Parsons School of Design, Moonraft Innovation Labs of UST, PUIG Barcelona, Culinary Institute of Barcelona, Barcelona Institute of Science and Technology, Baruch College of the City University of New York, and Long Island University. Holly is dedicated to helping her clients activate both their business and inventive capabilities to support creative freedom in nonprofits, which enables their organizations to focus on positive social impact.
Glenn Emanuel is an award-winning business trainer specializing in sales, negotiations, communications, and marketing. Glenn’s work with entrepreneurial organizations helps them create the unique narrative that describes their missions. Glenn was an award-winning professor at the Zicklin School of Business of Baruch College. He is also the author of Dear E, Love Letters to the Apprehensive Entrepreneur. Prior to his career as a teacher and consultant, Glenn launched a consumer wine magazine. He also served as Managing Director of Sales and as a Project Manager in Strategic Planning for The New York Times.

Perry-Lynn Moffitt
Perry-Lynn Moffitt is a writer who co-authored A Silent Sorrow: Pregnancy Loss, The Entrepreneurial Conversation, and Bankable Business Plans for Non-Profits. She wrote Johnson & Johnson’s Guide to Pregnancy and Early Parenthood, and is currently working on her first novel. She has edited a variety of books, Ph.D. dissertations, short stories, and essays for other writers and scholars. For 28 years, Perry-Lynn was a volunteer Bereavement Counselor with the Pregnancy Loss Support Program (PLSP) of The National Council of Jewish Women, New York Section, and she also served on the PLSP Board of Advisors. During her administrative career in the performing arts, she was initially hired as the Booking Director of Western Opera Theater, San Francisco Opera’s former touring company, and was eventually promoted to Company Administrator and Manager. When she moved back to New York City, Perry-Lynn became Director of the National Residency Program at Affiliate Artists, Inc. She also founded and directed a for-profit company, Corporate Performance Inc., which placed performing artists in community residencies sponsored by United States business clients.

Zena Nelson
Zena Nelson is an entrepreneur, project manager and consultant with broad experience in the healthcare, community development and tech industries with a special focus on program management, board structuring and community outreach. Zena is highly experienced in the issues of obtaining community support, local political buy-in and implementing organization upgrades.
